In Term 1, students explore the role of stimuli as a starting point when creating movement with meaning. Students perform a modern dance work articulating safe dance principles applied to sequences, combinations and phrases. In Term 2, students present a performance work with extended patterns and combinations demonstrating popular dance characteristics. Students reflect on personal experiences and document practical tasks in dance.
